Methodology & didactics

Once we have received your order, you will be given access to PeopleCert's official ITIL® 4 Foundation e-learning, which you can use to prepare for the exam in self-study over a period of 6 months.

To consolidate your knowledge, clarify questions and for specific exam tips, we also offer a 1-day online brush-up.

Please note: If the group size is small, the brush-up will be reduced to half a day.

You can choose the date for the brush-up individually, so that you have enough time to prepare.

We recommend that you prepare via e-learning for a maximum of 2 months, then attend the brush-up and book the exam (recommendation: take the exam within one week of the brush-up).

Target audience

This training is aimed at people who deal with IT Service Management / ITIL® and want to optimize the benefits of IT in their companies. This includes IT specialists as well as project managers, managers, consultants and process managers.

In terms of methodology, the course is aimed at learners who are good at self-organized learning and prefer flexibility in terms of learning time and place.

Requirements

There are no formal requirements for attending the course.

Certification

You can choose the language for e-learning, eBook and exam yourself at PeopleCert.

Once your order has been received, you will receive an email from PeopleCert with your e-learning login and a voucher for the online exam.

The exam voucher must be redeemed directly with PeopleCert, where you can register for an available exam date. The online exam is proctored by a PeopleCert invigilator, which requires a device with a microphone and camera. We recommend carrying out the test on private PCs/notebooks, as company notebooks are often subject to certain restrictions.

Format: Multiple-choice exam questions, number of questions: 40, pass rate: 65% (26 points out of 40), duration: 60 minutes, no aids permitted.

«Take2» Option
This option allows you to retake the exam at a lower price if you fail.The retake exam takes place online. If required, you can book this option yourself in your PeopleCert candidate profile before booking the exam.You have up to 6 months from the date of the first exam to prepare for and take the repeat exam.
