This module introduces the Platform Analytics use case and objectives, highlighting the three core pillars: Responsive Business, Service Improvement, and Data Foundation.
2 Bucket Groups and Scripts
Learners cover the concept of bucket groups, their configuration as breakdown sources, the use of scripts for breakdown mappings, and best practices for managing breakdown data growth.
3 Breakdown Security and Visibility
Implementing advanced categorization and navigation for Breakdowns is the focus, alongside configuring security for Indicators, Breakdowns, and Breakdown Elements.
4 Advanced Data Sources
Students learn to create a Database View for virtually joining tables and to develop diverse Data Visualizations in Platform Analytics using various data source types.
5 Spotlight
The curriculum identifies core Spotlight capabilities, including configuring criteria, implementing reporting, setting up Service Monitoring, and navigating its Interactive Analysis.
6 Analytics on Platform Metric
Focus is placed on defining and reviewing Metric Definitions and Instances, then configuring Instance Reporting and building Metric-based Automated Indicators.
7 Advanced Formula Indicators
You will identify and master advanced formula use cases and techniques to successfully design Index Indicators.
8 Dashboards, Visualizations, and Filtering
Participants build an In-Line Editor Dashboard, adding and configuring various elements and visualizations, plus they learn to create single, multiple, and cascading filters.
The course includes extensive practical exercises to deepen the concepts covered and to gain hands-on experience. The exercises are conducted in a personal, dedicated training instance.
This course is designed for Platform Analytics Administrators and Power Users who already administer and create content for the Platform Analytics Administration application.
