The Titanic simulation brings IT Service Management (ITSM) to life. Instead of dry theory, you immerse yourself in an interactive adventure where clear communication, well thought-out planning and smart decisions are the order of the day – just like in the real world of IT.
Working as a team, you will steer the Titanic through a series of turbulent challenges. Can you save the ship from sinking? The simulation playfully demonstrates how mistakes, chaos and lack of coordination can jeopardise business operations – and how structured ITSM helps to minimise risks and optimise processes.
With plenty of «aha» moments, you will experience first-hand how ITSM strategies work in practice. Based on proven frameworks such as ITIL®, VeriSM or IT4IT, you will gain valuable insights that you can integrate directly into your day-to-day work.
The simulation is offered as in-house training only and can be run with a minimum of 8, ideally 11 (up to a maximum of 13) participants.
This simulation is suitable for roles inside and outside IT, including IT (operations) team members, IT managers and team leaders, business roles, executives and ITSM specialists.
This simulation supports IT operations teams in continuously improving their own skills, in designing and implementing services, and in the practical application of IT Service Management frameworks.
No formal requirements or prior knowledge are required.
This simulation is conducted in cooperation with our partner Operaio GmbH.
