Component of the following courses

The individual theoretical foundations of UML are covered in short, timed units. Numerous practical exercises, which alternate with the theoretical units, are used to apply and deepen the knowledge of UML in a practical way.

This course is aimed at all persons working in IT, e.g. architects, developers, analysts and testers, but also e.g. project managers or quality officers who already have experience with object orientation and UML and would like to acquire further knowledge of UML.

In addition, this course is aimed at anyone who would like to attend our preparatory courses for the official and internationally recognized certifications «OMG-Certified UML Professional 2 Foundation™», «OMG-Certified UML Professional 2 Intermediate™» and «OMG-Certified UML Professional 2 Advanced™» following the course.

This course is not aimed at software architects and software developers who want to learn the object-oriented modeling of software. For this, we require attendance of the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOU) course or equivalent specialist knowledge.

Knowledge of the development of object-oriented software is an advantage. The minimum requirements are knowledge of object orientation and UML, as taught in the following courses:
