In addition, there will be exercises and clarification of questions that arise during your preparation. Participants book their certification on their own; therefore, it is not part of this certification preparation course.
You prepare for this course in advance and make notes of any questions you have for clarification during the course. Preparation is based on the materials from the course “Unified Modeling Language (UML) in Practice” and the materials available at http://www.omg.org/ocup-2/coveragemap-found.htm
The individual theoretical fundamentals of UML relevant to the certification exam are covered in short sessions. Preparation for the certification exam is carried out through numerous practical exercises that alternate with the theoretical sessions.
This course is aimed at specialists and IT professionals who want to confidently read, interpret, create, or evaluate UML diagrams in IT projects and who already have experience with object-oriented programming and UML:

The official «OMG Certified UML Professional 2™ (OCUP 2) Foundation (OMG-OCUP2-FOUND100)» exam can be taken at an official Pearson Vue test center (at digicomp in Zurich, Bern, or Basel).
The Foundation exam lasts 150 minutes for non-native English speakers. The exam is administered by a licensed certification body and is considered passed if at least 67% of the possible points are achieved. The exam fee in Switzerland is approximately USD 210 (equivalent in Swiss francs).
