1 Overview of Now Create
This foundational module provides an introduction to the Now Create methodology, detailing ServiceNow offerings, the phases involved, success packs, and the overall project flow.
2 Initiate
With a focus on getting started, the second module explains the Initiate phase, clarifying roles, responsibilities, architecture review, team identification, and Kick-Off meeting preparation.
3 Plan
As the course progresses, this module covers essential planning activities such as using an Agile board for sprint and story tracking, various instance configurations, LDAP integration, CSDM, and data imports.
4 Execute
Building on the planning, the execution module centers on developing the solution by identifying application building blocks, designing for system quality, utilizing development tools, understanding deployment security for applications, and concluding with a mini-implementation.
5 Deliver
Essential for a successful launch, the Deliver phase addresses code deployment methods, comprehensive testing including UAT, the necessity of process user training and change enablement, and applying final lessons to complete the go-live.
6 Close
Serving as the conclusion, the final module concentrates on wrapping up the project, specifically identifying and reporting benefits, planning for platform currency, confirming user awareness, and formally executing the project close down.
This course specifically prepares technical consultants for their first implementation projects. Using a backlog, you will work on requirements (stories) that occur in 80% of all customer projects. In the process, you will master best practices and discover new platform features.
