As well as accompanying exercises and the clarification of questions from your preparation. As with our other courses, the participants book the certification themselves, so it is not part of this course.

The individual theoretical principles of UML relevant for the certification examination are dealt with short time units. Numerous practical exercises, alternating with the theoretical units, are used to prepare for the certification exam.

This course is targeted at people who wish to attend the official and internationally recognized «OMG-Certified UML Professional 2 Foundation» exam.

Knowledge in the development of object-oriented software is an advantage. The minimum requirement is knowledge of object orientation and UML, as taught in the following courses:

The official «OCEB 2 Fundamental exam» (OMG-OCEB2-FUND100) can be taken at an official Pearson Vue test center (Digicomp in Zurich, Bern or Basel).

The Foundation exam will take 150 minutes for people without English as their native language. The examination is conducted by a licensed certification agency and is passed if at least 67% of the possible points have been achieved. The examination costs in Switzerland are USD 210.– (equivalent in Swiss francs).
