This course is based on the syllabus of the certificate «IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering – Foundation Level» (Version 3.1.0).
This training is highly interactive and action-oriented. Based on brief prompts from the trainer, participants carry out and discuss a variety of exercises to consolidate their learning.
All employees in companies who work directly and indirectly with requirements and are involved in the development of digital or physical solutions. Whether in RE, demand management, project management, product management or software and system development. The majority of these are requirements engineers, business analysts, business engineers, product engineers and project staff.
There are no formal admission criteria for this course.
In Digicomp Learn, we provide you with the IREB® manual about one week before the course starts. Use the manual to familiarise yourself with the course content and the IREB® wording.
Participants of this course have the opportunity to document their knowledge with the international CPRE® certificate. Another plus for your CV.
Before the start of the training, you will receive a voucher and the link to register for the exam from Certible.
After registration you will receive access data to Certible's self-service portal, where you can flexibly reschedule your booked date – there are no deadlines and no additional costs.
Technical requirements
For online exams with Certible, candidates need a computer with a stable internet connection, a webcam and microphone and one of the supported browsers (e.g. Chrome, Firefox). No installation is required. You can find further information on remote exams with Certible at https://www.certible.com/remote-exams/
We recommend using a private device and private network for the exam if possible, especially if your company computer or network is subject to restrictions.
Using the self-service portal you can also check your system’s compatibility with the remote exam in advance of your appointment.
Exam format
The exam lasts 75 minutes. Upon request, for example if your native language is not the language of the exam, the duration of the exam can be extended to 90 minutes.
During this time, approx. 45 multiple choice questions must be answered. The questions vary in difficulty and are awarded different numbers of points accordingly. No aids are permitted during the exam. You have passed the exam if you have achieved 70% of the points or more.
