The course is available to all those who wish to learn more about the PMBOK®.
Examination prerequisites according to PMI for CAPM®
Candidates with a higher education entrance qualification must demonstrate 1500 hours of active participation in projects at www.pmi.org or at least 23 hours of project management education. The requirements must have been met in the last eight years.
Exam fees: $225 for members, $300 for non-members, registration via Pearson Vue
Examination prerequisites according to PMI for PMP®
Candidates with a university degree must demonstrate 36 month of active participation in projects at www.pmi.org. This time increases to 60 month, if no study can be proven. In addition, 35 hours of Project Management Education are required.The requirements must have been met in the last eight years.
Exam fees: $405 for members, $ 555for non-members, registration via Pearson Vue
The exam is not part of the course. Please register individually for the exam via an authorized test center. Please note that experience has shown that a few more weeks of self-study should be planned between the course and the exam. Further information can be found in the PMP® manual.
