IT4IT™ includes a reference architecture and a value chain-based operating model for the business of IT (IT for IT). It provides detailed guidance on how to design, procure and implement IT so that IT can deliver value-added IT services to its customer. IT4IT™ is the foundation for digital transformation within IT and therefore the basis for successful DevOps implementations.

This course is designed for individuals who need a basic understanding of the IT4IT™ reference architecture and IT value chain, IT professionals responsible for IT service delivery, IT professionals / practitioners responsible for implementing an IT management toollandscape, enterprise architects responsible for IT business transformation.
No formal requirements necessary. However, basic understanding of service management is helpful.
The IT4IT™ Foundation Certification is awarded by The Open Group. The exam can be taken online in class directly after the course (last day of the course from approx. 1 pm) or at a PearsonVue test center at a later date if desired.
Format: simple multiple choice, number of questions: 40, duration: 60 minutes, language: English, pass score: 65% (26 out of 40 questions), no aids
