Consists of the following modules
The seminar consists of a 4-day seminar, a 1-day exam preparation and the final official exam.
This course is conducted interactively. Based on short impulse phases, numerous exercises are worked on and evaluated together.
Important: On the 5th day (exam preparation) you will need a notebook in order to work directly on the self-evaluation and registration forms.
This course is aimed at project managers, team leaders, department heads, IT managers, i.e. people in a leading role in an agile context.
According to the VZPM accreditation body, certification as a «Certified Agile Associate IPMA® Level D» is not associated with any formal admission requirements.
The exam for the «Certified Agile Associate IPMA® Level D» takes 3 hours and consists of 60 multiple-choice questions and 30 open questions. The questions can relate to any of the swiss.ICB4 competencies. You have passed the exam if you have achieved at least 60% of the possible total score and have answered at least one question correctly for at least 23 of the 28 competencies in Project Management or 24 of the 29 competencies in Agile Leadership.
The exam will be held online. There is one appointment per class. Digicomp will register you for this online exam with the certification body. You will need a webcam to take the exam, as exam proctoring is done via Zoom, and a browser. You will receive the links for this in the exam invitation.
On the day of the exam, you can log into the candidate portal and find your exam session there. You will then open your browser and be able to join the Zoom meeting there. The certificate has international recognition and is valid for five years. It entitles you to use the acquired title «Certified Agile Associate (IPMA Level D)» during the validity period of the certificate.
Shortened procedure in Agile Leadership
If you have a valid project management certificate (IPMA Level D or higher), you can take an abbreviated written exam.
The exam takes 1 hour and consists of 20 multiple-choice questions and 10 open-ended questions. The questions can be related to any of the 9 swiss.ICB4agile competencies that are not already recognized by your existing project management certificate. You have passed the exam if you have achieved at least 60% of the possible total score and have answered at least one question correctly for 8 of the 9 competencies.
To register, you must complete the Agile IPMA Level D certification application before taking the exam. All candidates can register on the VZPM certification portal and upload the documents to be submitted there. The certification application to be completed and the guide will be made available to candidates on the certification portal.
