OSSTMM Professional Security Analyst Fast Track («TSA»)

• Analysing and interpreting test results from security testers according to OSSTMM, for example to calculate the benchmark risk assessment value (RAV) or identify incorrect results Creating and analysing network charts and test reports

Therefore, technical testing knowledge is essential in order to pass the exam. The course also covers the fundamentals of project management for audit projects. As an OPSA, you will learn to create, analyse and design network diagrams and test reports using the associated project control tools. This will prepare you to deal with complex, ever-changing requirements.

This course is aimed at security auditors, security consultants, network engineers, CISOs, CIOs, CSOs and compliance managers.

Prerequisites are solid knowledge of IT security, sound basic knowledge of networks and TCP/IP protocols, and experience in network design.

Information about the exam

The exam is included in the course price. On the last day of the course, you will take the exam to become a Certified OSSTMM Professional Security Analyst. The exam lasts 3 hours and includes theoretical questions about OSSTMM as well as practical tasks in the field of security testing. The exam can be taken on your own laptop or on Digicomp devices.

Exam retake

Certification

OPST certification has been recognised for the Diploma «Master in Information Technology Security» at La Salle University in Barcelona. This institution is part of the international La Salle educational network, which also includes Manhattan College in New York and La Salle University in Philadelphia. All OPST certificates carry both the ISECOM and La Salle seals, a sign of the prestige associated with them.

This course is an original ISECOM course and is conducted in cooperation with Oneconsult AG.
