1 Strategic Portfolio Management Introduction
This module reviews the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management products, covering their architecture, roles, and verification of the SPM environment.
2 Idea and Demand Management
Focusing on initial strategy, the second module details the process of creating an idea, converting it to a demand, and how to submit, screen, assess, and qualify demands using the Demand Workbench.
3 Project Management
You learn to differentiate project types (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and practice initiating, planning, executing, and closing projects and tasks within the Project Workspace in ServiceNow.
4 Resource Management
Here, the key topics include creating and managing resource assignments, understanding planning attributes, and examining resource costs and timecards through the resource management workspace.
5 Portfolio Planning Workspace
The focus of this module is on reviewing and navigating the Portfolio Planning Workspace to create, update, and share a Portfolio Plan, including capacity and scenario planning.
6 Mature SPM
Finally, this last module examines other applications that enhance and mature the Strategic Portfolio Management solution, including their interactions and the next steps for implementation.
In this three-day interactive course, you will work directly on the ServiceNow platform. Using your own training instance – a secure sandbox loaded with demo data – you can apply what you learn immediately.
Follow a fictional company on its journey through Strategic Portfolio Management. The course combines impulse sessions, group discussions, and live demos with intensive hands-on labs where you will complete practical exercises.
