Foundation Training Path
Start with AWS and build the foundational competencies to continue with the job role of your choice. Note that you must complete all foundation courses (or equivalent competencies) for the role you are aiming for.
The Solution Architect role requires a comprehensive understanding of the AWS platform and services to enable organizations to design, plan and scale their AWS deployments. The role requires skills in architecting and deploying robust and secure applications on AWS technologies, advising on best practices for AWS infrastructure and optimizing the organization's IT architecture.
The AWS Cybersecurity role focuses on protecting the integrity of cloud-based digital platforms and sensitive information. The role requires expertise in developing and deploying scalable, highly available and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, implementing security measures and controls, and regularly assessing the security posture and remediating vulnerabilities.
The Financial Builder role encompasses strategic financial management within the AWS ecosystem. This includes cost forecasting, budget planning, identifying cost savings opportunities and building financial models to support strategic initiatives. Knowledge of AWS services and pricing models is a must, as are strong financial analysis skills.
AWS developers design, develop and implement cloud-based solutions with AWS. This includes setting up, configuring and managing AWS environments as well as coding and debugging applications that use AWS services. These tasks require extensive knowledge in the areas of software development, cloud architecture, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
This role focuses on extracting insights from large amounts of data using AWS services. AWS Data Analysts have knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and design and implementation of data analytics solutions using AWS Data Services. They need a solid foundation in data analysis and knowledge of AWS Big Data technologies.
Professionals in this role develop and implement machine learning models and artificial intelligence solutions using AWS. They design, build and implement ML/AI models and know how to utilize the AWS suite of ML tools. This role requires expertise in machine learning algorithms, data science, and experience with AWS services related to artificial intelligence.
