30 days, combined as evening and Saturday classes. The PC/LAN Supporter (CompTIA) part-time course also requires a significant amount of study and time outside of the classroom. This varies depending on previous knowledge, but is generally 5 to 10 hours per week.
This training course is aimed at ICT career changers, PC and network administrators who wish to gain a comprehensive grounding in PC support. It is also an ideal foundation for those wishing to further their education in areas such as Windows Server.
Successful completion of the Digicomp assessment test and a basic knowledge of English are required.
Certified instructors with extensive practical experience in everyday working life prepare you for the following four international certifications: CompTIA IT Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Server+. The following exams can be taken at a PearsonVUE test center (Digicomp in Zurich and Bern):
- Exam FC0-U61: CompTIA IT-Fundamentals
- Exam CompTIA A+ 220-1101
- Exam CompTIA A+ 220-1102
- Exam N10-008: CompTIA Network+
- Exam SK0-005: CompTIA Server+
FC0-U61 and SK0-005 are in English.
