  • «ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level» certificate
  • 18 months of experience in testing or higher IT education is required.

Certification
The certification exam is held on the last day of the training at 3 p.m. by the certification institute SAQ. The exam fees of CHF 360 are included in the course price.
 
Format: 40 multiple-choice questions, pass rate: 65%, duration: 90 minutes (Participants who do not take the exam in their spoken language will receive an additional 25% time and will have 23 minutes more time, for a total of 113 minutes.

For courses that take place onsite, the exam is part of the course. You write the exam in the afternoon of the last day of the course. For this purpose, an invigilator from the certification body comes to the premises and takes the exam.

In the case of virtual courses, you register independently with the certification body SAQ for an online exam after the course and make an individual appointment. The exam date takes place after the seminar. A few days before the exam date you will receive an eMail from ProctorExam (the provider of online exams). In this eMail you will be asked to perform a system check on your device. As soon as this system check is successfully completed, you will receive another eMail with the link to the exam. On the agreed examination date, you log in via the examination link. During the exam you will be accompanied and supervised online by an exam proctor.
