Module 1: Check-in Transformation Journey (0.5 days online)

  • Change starts with me – basic attitude and mindset of a change manager
  • Creation of development boards
  • Zurich Resource Model

Module 2: Success factors in Change Management (2 days)

  • Fundamentals and basic dynamics of change
  • Process models and phases of change
  • Roles in the process of change
  • Transformation matrix and intervention levels
  • Plan-driven and agile or iterative procedures
  • Aspects relevant to change «from the outside and from the inside»

Module 3: Self-organisation and agile team development (3 days and approx. 1 day WBT*) – mandatory module

  • Self-organisation and change
  • Agile Mindset: Triggering and supporting learning processes
  • Agile team development: From a formal group to a «real» team
  • (Resonance-based) team retrospectives
  • Feedback, participation and conflict management in change processes

Module 4: Agile culture development and change architecture (2 days online)

  • Preparatory assignment
  • Corporate culture as a framework for change management
  • Corporate culture diagnosis – working on the system
  • Planning and implementing culture hacks
  • Sustainability of change measures
  • Rituals and closing interventions in change management

Module 5: Design Thinking in Change Management  (2 days)

  • Presentation of change projects
  • Conception of change with the innovation method Design Thinking
  • Planning and implementing design sprints
  • Conclusion – Check out

*WBT = Web-based training. Can be completed independently of time and place.

Target audience

This course is aimed at organisational and human resource developers, change managers, internal and external consultants, managers, organisers, project managers, business analysts and employees who are actively involved in change processes.

Requirements

There are no formal admission requirements for this course. It is recommended to have already gained experience in connection with change processes.

Certification

The performance record consists of a continuous attendance (at least 80%), a transfer paper after the module «Self-organisation and agile team development», another transfer paper as well as 1 mandatory module, which has to be attended 100%.

Additional information

This course is conducted in cooperation with our partner SGO Business School. The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) and the 10 ECTS credits are awarded by HWZ Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich.
