Component of the following courses
The course consists of three days of instruction and an online exam. Self-study is required to prepare for the course and exam.
The course consists of a mix of impulses, plenary discussion/exchange of experiences, group and individual work.
Please bring a notebook or tablet to the course, as the seminar will use the HERMES online environment.
This course is aimed at experienced project managers with a good knowledge of project management and HERMES 2022 who want to obtain the «HERMES 2022 Advanced» certificate and successfully apply the method.
Very good knowledge of project management and HERMES 2022 as well as substantial practical experience in a leading or controlling role in projects is required.
The «HERMES 2022 Foundation» certificate is not a prerequisite for the HERMES 2022 Advanced exam.
However, all HERMES 2022 Foundation material is relevant to the HERMES 2022 Advanced exam. For this reason, we recommend that you attend the following course in advance or study the material on your own:
Please send us your date of birth and hometown when you register. This information is required for the exam registration. On the day of the exam, you will need an official photo ID for identification purposes.
Scheduling the exam
Tüv Süd will give you the opportunity to complete the exam within a three-day time slot. This time slot is only available on weekends (Friday through Sunday inclusive). We make every effort to schedule this three-day time slot on the weekend immediately following the last day of the course. Please note that there may be exceptions. Dates will be available as soon as you register.
Registration
The HERMES 2022 Advanced exam is administered online. The exam takes place via the software ProctorExam. With your personalized e-mail address (which you provide when registering for the course), you will be invited by TüV Süd with a link to the registration/examination. Once you have registered, you will be invoiced for the exam, even if you do not take it. When registering, please indicate that the invoice should be sent to Digicomp. The general terms and conditions of TüV Süd apply.
Exam Results and Certification
Immediately after the exam, you will see in the system whether you have passed the exam or not. The final decision to issue the certificate will be made after the exam. You will then receive your certificate by e-mail.
Technical requirements:
- PC or laptop with webcam, microphone and speakers (no headset)
- Multiple monitors can be connected, but they must be duplicated
- Google Chrome or Edge Chromium browser with a ProctorExam add-on
- Tablet running Android 4.1 or higher or iOS 8.0 or higher with a ProctorExam app
- Stable internet connection with at least 1 Mbits (upload and download)
Format: Multiple-choice exam questions, duration: 2 x 60 minutes
Please note: The reference manual and the BCI overview are available in digital form on the exam platform. These can be used during the exam. You may also use a paper copy of the reference manual and scenario outline. This applies to Part 2 of the exam only.
