1 Microsoft Azure Architect Design Prerequisites
Learn the basic Azure concepts you'll need to know as an Azure infrastructure architect. This module gives you the knowledge to be successful as you begin studying for «AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions».

2 Design identity, governance, and monitor solutions
Design identity, governance, and monitor solutions including authentication.

3 Design business continuity solutions
Design business continuity solutions including high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.

4 Design data storage solutions
Design data storage solutions including non-relational storage, relational storage, and data integration.

5 Design infrastructure solutions
Design Infrastructure Solutions including compute, applications, networking and migrations.

6 Build great solutions with the «Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework»   
Learn how to design and build secure, scalable, high-performing solutions in Azure using the pillars of the «Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework».

7 Accelerate cloud adoption with the «Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure»
Do you need a clear path forward for your cloud journey? This learning path includes best practice guidance to help you create a cloud strategy, define a cloud adoption plan, prepare your cloud environment with proper governance, and implement cloud operations in alignment with your organizational needs. Successful students have experience and knowledge in IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance. Students also have experience designing and architecting solutions.

Before attending this course, students must have previous experience deploying or administering Azure resources and strong conceptual knowledge of:

• Azure compute technologies such as VMs, containers and serverless solutions
• Azure virtual networking to include load balancers
• Azure Storage technologies (unstructured and databases)
• General application design concepts such as messaging and high availability

We also recommend that you have completed the following courses:

The workshop DP-3001: Migrate SQL Server Workloads to Azure SQL Database is integrated into this course.

Modality

The «flexible» live virtual course is scheduled over a period of 3-4 weeks. During this time, 6-8 instructor-led sessions of 3.5 hours each take place, i.e., the instructor supervises the participants live. All live sessions of a course will take place in the morning from 8:30 am - 12:00pm (CET) or afternoon from 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm (CET). This time is indicated on the respective course as a total of 1-5 days. 

By clicking on «Timetable» when enrolling, you can already see when the live sessions will take place. Of course, these sessions are recorded and therefore available for the class afterwards. 

Everything takes place on one Microsoft Teams channel per class. The participants have access to all sessions and information within the class for the duration of the course.
