In this practice-oriented program, you’ll develop the knowledge and skills needed to actively shape change processes, devise innovative strategies, and design organizations that are future-ready and adaptable. You’ll learn to analyze a wide variety of change processes, create transparency, and take targeted action. This will enable you to actively involve stakeholders and ensure meaningful milestones in strategic and operational implementation.
The CAS will teach you the latest and most proven methods and competencies in organizational consulting, ranging from change management to the integration of artificial intelligence into decision-making processes.
Module 1: Successful Change Management (2 days)

Module 2: Master Management with AI (at least 3 days)
- Fundamentals in the context of generative AI
- Data as the foundation of functioning AI systems
- Legal foundations of generative AI and security + practical component
- Marketing in the context of generative AI + practical component
- Automation and agents + practical component
- Sales in the context of generative AI + practical component
- Sustainability in the context of generative AI + practical component
- Project management and generative AI + practical component
- Intelligent Leadership + practical component
- Required: Complete 6 of the 7 modules with a case study (practical component)
Module 3: Agile Culture Development (2 days, online)
- Understanding corporate culture
- Getting to know and applying the diagnostic tool

Module 4: Organizational Design – The Toolkit (2 days)
- Introduction to organizational management
- Structural management – from the individual to the department

Module 5: Strategy Development (2 days)
- Design Thinking (Iterative processes: Leveraging the advantages of cyclical and recurring development phases)
- Business model canvas
- Stakeholder integration: Process design, requirements, and solutions

Module 6: Change Story and Design Thinking (2 days, onsite)
- Advanced Communication
- Telling a change story

The modules offer a flexible mix of in-person and online instruction. The first and fourth modules, as well as the final exam, take place on-site. The MMAI and the third module are conducted entirely online, while for the fifth module, you can choose between an online or on-site option. This combination of in-person and online formats allows you to integrate learning flexibly and efficiently into your daily routine.

There are no formal admission requirements for the CAS in Organizational Development. Enthusiasm, a strong interest in the possibilities of artificial intelligence, and some initial experience with change processes or project management are desirable.
CAS Organizational Development (Certificate of Advanced Studies with 12 ECTS credits)
The SGO Business School awards the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in collaboration with the HWZ Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration. The HWZ is institutionally accredited by the HFGK
