What is VMware Aria (aka Realize)?

VMware Aria consists of two main components of the vRealize Suite

VMware Aria Automation (formerly vRealize Automation) is designed to automate the provisioning and ongoing management of personalized IT services. The tool provides a secure, policy-based self-service portal through which applications and infrastructure can be requested and managed.

VMware Aria Operations (formerly vRealize Operations) is an operations management tool that provides intelligent workflows from applications to infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud environments. Aria Operations provides comprehensive, real-time visibility from infrastructure to applications and predictive analytics to proactively identify and resolve performance, capacity and configuration issues.
