This training course will prepare you optimally for the international certification «Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1)».
- Working on the UNIX command line
- Performing simple maintenance tasks (user support, adding users to a larger system, backup & restore, shutdown & reboot)
- Automating administrative tasks with shell scripts
- Installing and configuring a workstation with a connection to the LAN or connecting a single PC to the Internet via a modem
- Configuring network services
- Exam workshop
Consists of the following modules
- LPIC-1: Installation and Fundamentals
- LPIC-1: System Administration
- LPIC-1: Kernel and Shell
- LPIC-1: Network Administration
- LPIC-1: Exam Workshop – Exam 101
- LPIC-1: Exam Workshop – Exam 102 and Conclusion
10 days, mainly Saturday classes. The part-time training course to become a Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1) requires considerable study outside of class, taking up a lot of time. This varies depending on prior knowledge, but is usually 5 to 10 hours per week.
This training course is aimed at aspiring Linux specialists and users of the Linux operating system who want to become familiar with its practical application and obtain the «Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1)» certification.
Successful completion of the Digicomp assessment test, as well as basic knowledge of Linux, according to the following course.
The following exams for «Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1)» can be taken at a Pearson VUE test centre (Digicomp in Zurich, Bern and Basel):
