Google Cloud Network & Security Engineering
A Security Engineer develops, implements, and monitors their organization’s security infrastructure to protect sensitive information against cybercrime.
Cloud Security Engineering
Cloud Security Engineers allow organizations to design and implement secure workloads and infrastructure on Google Cloud. Through an understanding of security best practices and industry requirements, they design, develop, and manage a secure solution by using Google security technologies. Cloud Security Engineers are proficient in identity and access management, defining the resource hierarchy and policies, using Google Cloud technologies to provide data protection, configuring network security defenses, monitoring environments for threats, configuring security automation, securing AI workloads, securing the software supply chain, and enforcing regulatory controls.
The «Professional Cloud Security Engineer (PSNE)» exam assesses your ability to:
- Configure access
- Secure communications and establish boundary protection
- Ensure data protection
- Manage operations
- Support compliance requirements
Cloud Network Engineering
Cloud Network Engineers may work on networking or cloud teams with architects who design cloud infrastructure. They use the Google Cloud Console and/or command line interface and leverage experience with network services, application and container networking, hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, implementing VPCs, and security for established network architectures to ensure successful cloud implementations.
The «Professional Cloud Network Engineer (PCNE)» exam assesses your ability to:
- Design, plan, and prototype a Google Cloud network
- Implement Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) instances
- Configure network services
- Implement hybrid interconnectivity
- Manage, monitor, and optimize network operation
