The «CompTIA Server+» course teaches vendor-neutral and practical skills for the professional handling of servers in modern IT infrastructures. Participants learn how to install, configure, operate, and systematically maintain server hardware and software.
The course covers both classic on-premises servers and hybrid environments and takes into account current requirements for security, availability, and performance. There is a particular focus on structured troubleshooting and proven operating and maintenance processes in data center and corporate environments.
The course specifically prepares participants for the CompTIA Server+ certification exam (SK0-005) and is suitable for IT professionals who are responsible for server and infrastructure components.

Format:
- Number of questions: maximum of 90 questions, multiple choice and performance-based
- Length of test: 90 minutes
- Passing score: 750 (on a scale of 100-900)
- Recommended experience: CompTIA A+ certified or equivalent knowledge, with two years of hands-on experience in a server environment
- Languages: English and Japanese
- NICE and DCWF work roles: network operations specialist and systems administrator
The CompTIA Server + exam can be taken in a Pearson VUE test center (Digicomp in Zurich, Bern, and Basel).
