The content of this intensive training is derived from the exam «AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions». Start preparing for the course on Microsoft Learn now and use the Learning Support if you have any questions. During the intensive training days with the instructor you will work with the official Microsoft course material (more information under «Methodology & didactics»).

This course teaches Azure Solution Architects how to design infrastructure solutions. Course topics cover governance, compute, application architecture, storage, data integration, authentication, networks, business continuity, and migrations. The course combines lecture with case studies to demonstrate basic architect design principles.

Module 1: Design compute and application solutions

The bootcamp takes place in an all-inclusive hotel. This allows you to be fully immersed during the bootcamp without any distractions. The bootcamp starts at 11am in the seminar room (facility) followed by lunch together. Each module starts at 8am and lasts until 9pm, after which there is time for self-study.

Detailed timetable 

Successful participants will have experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networks, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance. Participants also have experience in solution design and architecture.

Prior to attending this course, students must have previous experience deploying or managing Azure resources and have conceptual knowledge:

• Azure Active Directory
• Azure compute technologies such as VMs, containers, and serverless solutions
• Azure virtual networking, including load balancers
• Azure storage technologies (unstructured and databases)
• General application design concepts such as messaging and high availability

Participants are required to successfully pass the exam: "AZ-104 - Microsoft Azure Administrator" and obtain the certification: "Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate".

We recommend that you attend the following bootcamp:

To achieve the certification «Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert», the following exams are required:

• «AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator» (is a prerequisite for participation in this bootcamp) and
• «AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions» (will be addressed in the bootcamp)

The required exams will be taken on-site during the boot camp.

Important: If Microsoft updates the exam related to a certification, we will always train you on the latest courseware version available and you will take the exam related to this courseware. After the new exam and courseware version are released, the old exam version is still available for another 90 days to be taken by learners that have been studying on the old courseware version. This path will lead to the same certification as the new exam version. You will receive details instructions from the instructor during the training.
