What does agile mean?

People talk about agile project management, agile organisations or even agile mindsets. All terms have one thing in common: the striving for the greatest possible adaptability in the so-called VUCA world. 

VUCA stands for volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity and thus for our time, which has become so fast-moving, uncertain, complex and ambiguous against the backdrop of digital transformation that classic approaches are not effective in either project management or leadership.

Agility is therefore increasingly becoming a necessary leadership and organisational principle to be successful in increasingly digital markets. 

How do you make the leap to an agile organisation?

Companies that are agile, on the other hand, are able to adapt their organisation and their business model to new market requirements in just a short time - and are thus always a step ahead of their competitors.
