Video marketing has become an increasingly important part of the marketing mix, and the trend is clearly upwards. The amount of video on the web is growing exponentially every day.
Well-made videos stand out from the crowd and achieve much higher click-through rates. An often underestimated but extremely important component is the professional editing of a video. However, many videos are edited «off the cuff» or simply «cut away». This course shows you how to edit your videos effectively and professionally using Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Media Encoder.

- Storytelling and narrative structure of social media clips
- Different types of editing and their effects
- Creating dynamics in the edit
- Analysis of social media clips (incl. examples brought along)
- Workshop incl. analysis of the results
Self-study
The short video produced will be optimised and made available to the other participants and trainers via the Digicomp app. Approximately 4 hours should be allowed for self-study.
1:1 Creative Check-in with individual project consultation (2h)
Each participant will receive 2 hours of individual support two weeks after the course. In this module, each participant's own post-course project is analysed and tips and tricks are given on how to improve the result. The two-hour online coaching can be arranged directly with the trainer or by contacting us at info@digicomp.ch or 044 447 21 21.
Component of the following courses
The course is designed to be interactive to ensure effective knowledge transfer and practical application. In addition to the theoretical concepts, numerous practical exercises will be carried out, giving participants the opportunity to directly apply what they have learnt.
This course is aimed at marketing professionals, content creators, communication specialists and newcomers to video production who want to develop professional video editing skills. It is aimed at anyone who wants to combine creative storytelling techniques with technical expertise and realise their video projects efficiently, effectively and in line with their target group.
For this course you need basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro analogue to the following course:
Information about Classroom Equipment
Our courses are usually held on Windows devices. However, we are happy to provide you with an Apple computer in Zurich, Bern, and Basel upon request. Please let us know in advance by emailing info@digicomp.ch.
Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own laptop.
For virtual participation, we recommend using an additional monitor (not just a laptop) so that you can follow the lessons and participate fully.
Adobe CC Software
Adobe Creative Cloud software will be made available to you without restriction in the course rooms during the course.
If you are participating virtually, you can work on your own device. Please let us know if you do not have your own «Adobe Creative Cloud» license. In this case, we will be happy to provide you with the software via remote access for the duration of the course.
The remote environment will be set up on a Windows device; Apple devices are not an option here. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use this environment beyond the course period.
