Short impulse sessions and clear live demonstrations convey the fundamentals. In four hands-on exercises based on the continuous case study «Seeblick Municipality», you apply what you have learned directly using HERMES templates: You prepare a study based on previous results, develop a stakeholder or risk analysis followed by a feedback round, produce a deliverable from project operations, and assign concrete situations to the confidentiality traffic light system under the motto «Am I allowed to do this?». Guided exercises as well as partner and group work deepen your understanding. Around 40 percent of the day is dedicated to hands-on practice. Concluding Q&A sessions address open questions and support the transfer into your daily project work.
You’ll receive the following course materials:
- Slides as PDF
- Exercise handout featuring the continuous case study «Seeblick Municipality»
- Prompt library with proven HERMES prompts
- AI-HERMES matrix as a one-pager (phase, deliverable, role, use case, tool)
- Confidentiality traffic light, mini AI policy, and checklist «before using AI»
- Personal action plan
People from administration, education, and business who prepare, review, or approve HERMES results:
- Project managers, subproject managers
- PMO staff
- User representatives
- Roles closely associated with the client (steering committee, line managers of projects)
You have a basic understanding of HERMES at the HERMES Foundation level or have comparable practical experience. Prior knowledge of AI is not required.
For the hands-on exercises, you’ll need your own laptop with Microsoft 365 and a current browser (Edge or Chrome). We also recommend having access to Microsoft 365 Copilot or Copilot Chat in your own tenant, or to ChatGPT or Claude with a corporate subscription.
Even without your own access, you can follow along with the applications using the trainer’s live demos. The exercises can also be completed using Copilot Chat.
