Cisco Certified Network Professional Security Certification

The CCNP Security certification prepares you for today's security tasks.

Overview

This certification is aimed at network engineers and system engineers. CCNP Security certification is obtained by successfully passing the CORE exam (preparatory course: SCOR) and one of the CONCENTRATION exams (preparatory courses: SNCF, SISE3X, SESA, SWSA, SVPN or SAUTO). The order is irrelevant: you can first take a CORE and then a CONCENTRATION exam or vice versa. However, a CORE exam requires more and deeper preparation, since a CORE course covers the essentials of the respective technology. In the CONCENTRATION area of each technology, more in-depth knowledge of a specialization is required.
