Marc Kaufmann is an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, and Professional Scrum Trainer at Scrum.org. With more than 20 years of professional experience in IT, he has been working as a Scrum Coach and Trainer since 2008 and “walks his talk”: he prefers to work directly with the team as a Scrum Master. Marc's area of expertise is onsite, near-shore, and offshore product development using agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP) – even outside of IT.

Enthusiastic about nonviolent communication, contextual and solution-focused coaching, one thing is always at the forefront for him – both inside and outside of IT: people.

Marc is a partner of the Scrum Events Network and co-organizer of Scrumday, the largest German-language event on the topic of agility. A portion of the proceeds from coaching and training assignments goes back into sustainable, charitable projects.
